  • Gaza Ceasefire Efforts
    US President Donald Trump stated that Israel’s plan to withdraw from Gaza has been accepted. He also conveyed this to Hamas. Hamas stated that if this plan goes ahead, it will release all its prisoners. Trump urged Israel to stop bombing now, as this represents a major step towards peace. The leaders of the United Nations and Europe were also happy and said that this is a good thing. But the Israeli army continued to operate in Gaza and warned people not to return to the war zone.
  • Japan’s New Leadership
    Japan’s ruling party, the LDP, has chosen Sanae Takaichi as its new leader. She has previously served as Minister of Economic Security. Now there is every possibility of her becoming the Prime Minister, and if this happens then she will become the first woman PM of Japan. This will be a big history in the politics of the country.
  • America’s Government Shutdown
    Government work in the United States has come to a halt because the budget was not passed. This has now lasted for the third day. Till now the leaders have not been able to take a unanimous decision on how the budget money will be spent.
  • Protests in Europe
    People in several European cities took to the streets to express their anger against Israel for blocking an aid ship destined for Gaza. People want more countries around the world to help and ensure aid reaches Gaza.
  • Ukraine War News
    Russian President Putin praised Trump, but also issued a warning. He said that if the US supplies long-range missiles to Ukraine, relations between Russia and the US will deteriorate further.

  • India–China Flights Begin
    After five years, direct flights between India and China are resuming. IndiGo will operate a daily flight from Kolkata to Guangzhou from 26 October. Due to this, people of both the countries will come together easily.
  • Bihar Election Preparations
    Senior officials from the Election Commission visited Bihar and spent two days observing how election preparations were progressing. The current assembly in Bihar is ending its term on 22nd November, hence it is necessary to conduct new elections now.
  • India Wins Para Athletics
    The World Para Athletics Championship was held in Delhi, where India won three more medals. India’s total medals now stand at 18. Ekta Bhyan and Soman Rana took silver, while Praveen Kumar won bronze. This shows that India is now performing well in parasports at home.
  • Delhi’s Air Poor
    As winter began, Delhi’s air quality deteriorated further. Pollution increased. The government has already implemented some regulations to prevent illness and keep the air clean.
  • Maoist activity has declined.
    According to government reports, the Maoists who used to fight in the jungle have now become less active. New people aren’t coming in, there are constant conflicts within their team, and police operations are also ongoing.
  • Festivals of Joy
    People across India celebrated festivals like Padmanabha Dwadashi and Shani Trayodashi with great love and devotion. Worship was performed in the temple and people gathered together and celebrated.

  • Global Innovation Index 2025
    A report has been released that examines the innovation of countries around the world. India has entered the top 40 countries and ranked number one in the Asia region. This shows that India is developing a favorable environment for new ideas and technology.
  • New EV Safety Rules
    The Transport Ministry has stated that starting October 1, 2026, all new electric vehicles manufactured will be required to be equipped with a dedicated sound system (AVAS). This system will create a noise to reduce the risk to pedestrians.
  • RBI Payments Board
    The RBI has formed a new six-member board to oversee the digital payment system and make it safer. This will make online money transfers in India easier.
  • India–Singapore Business Meeting
    India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal visited Singapore and met with prominent business figures there. Both countries discussed how to work more closely together in trade, investment and technology.
